Seminar with Gurio Bob Breen

We're proud to be hosting Guro Bob Breen at Empower Martial Arts Academy Lincoln on Sunday 26th November 12-4pm. 

Guro Bob is a legend within the martial arts scene, he began his training in 1966. He competed in Karate for Great Britain and captained the team that beat the Japanese in 1974. 

Bob then became a pioneer of full contact fighting in Europe, studying boxing and groundwork before finding Jeet Kune Do and introducing it to the UK by bringing over Dan Inosanto. 

He is one of the foremost experts on knife defence and close quarter combat, and captained and competed in the 1989 World Stick fighting championships and coached the British Eskrima team who brought home 13 medals in 1992.

His students now include movie stars, champion MMA fighters and elite coaches too.

£30 for 4 hours with Guro Bob and limited to just 30 people.

I am relatively new to the BCA/BCKA, I left my previous Association 3 years ago to pursue a more practical approach to my training and teaching. It was Iain Abernathy who recommended I give Peter Consterdine a call. In our first phone call, Peter came across helpful, open-minded and supportive to my needs. He explained what the BCA/BCKA could provide and how it’s run. I received an information pack in the post and it ticked all the boxes. It is a very professionally run association. The admin is run extremely efficiently by Dawn and Peter provides constant support and advice to all his members. The wealth and depth of knowledge in the Instructors of the BCA/BCKA is second to none. I am extremely happy I found such a humble and supportive Association.
